thanks Ray

I picked up one on jigs last saturday on the south side. Hit right at the bank, thought I was snagged up till the toothy, slimey, glass eyed geek of a fish thing :D took off in a dif. direction. Tired drowning minners but there was no takers, casted from about 7 till dark and planned up sittin with the minners for awhile but forgot the chair so I went home and surfed the "eye" net. Fish was a undersized lookin 17"er. Dint think it was even that long till I put a tape on it.

Today and tonight is def. my kind of hurry-cane fishing the east bank of grand weather. However, I went and tried a hurry and get bait but to no avail. Been fightin a fever the hacks and the aches for about 4 days. Didn't have the energy to throw the damn net very long. I sure wish I could have gotten bait quickly cuz I'd sure be out trying. Maybe tomorrow?

More power to ya Hurry-cane Bill cuz around 6am this morn' I'd sling a pair of quarter oz jigs out & they'd hit the water at my feet -heheh ... and it got worst by early afternoon till it settled down this eve. Yesterday(overcast/BOD) & last nite was a hum-dinger for eater size on jigs till the front moved in...
