OSTA State Shoot looking for ne home

It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that due to contractual difficulties OSTA and Coshocton County Sportsman Association have agreed to part ways. We wish CCSA the best of luck with whatever they decide to do that weekend. I would like the Thank CCSA for all the hard work and help for the past four years. i am very disappointed,that was a very good shoot,maybe osta needs tuh git back to the land aquisition plan that was intended when it started,whatever happened with aquiring hockin hills.this is a nice place,butt coshockton will be hard to replace,sorry tuh hear this.

If you're interested in (Adena) Jefferson Co. I could run it past our club, ShortCreek Sportsman's Club. We have 250 members and 3000+ acres. They hold ATV rides down there and accomodate up to 2500 people on the popular weekends. Let me know if you have interest and I can forward you our club president's phone number.

Thanks to everyone for their support. The OSTA State Shoot has been held in various locations since 1989. Rest assured that there will be one next year.

So far Four clubs have shown interest and am awaiting to hear if their Executive Boards agree! Then we arrange visits and make a decission.

ONce again Hntnfsh says we appriciate all the support and help in this matter!

I'm not a member of OSTA, but I do have a recurve that I try to shoot. I would definately go to the LOGAN shoot if it is held there and if it's on a weekend that I could make it.

And by the way, Ray, how IS that recurve doing?

DOING OK, I can't say within the last two weeks I have shot it, but that's because I have been hunting. Getting better and better with the recurve every time I go out to shoot. I was hoping to take it out to hunt with it next season, but we will have to play that one by ear.

If you remember, you kinda won it because Wickohio had the brilliant idea of giving it to the guy who shot the best score. Which happened to be Josh, but he didn't want it, so you're just keeping it for him. At any rate, no trophies this season, just good times and good buds. Maybe a cool one after the shoot, what do ya say?

I'm ready when we shooting,Got the recurve ready to go,need alot more practice but i should be there by mid season i hope.I'm good out to 15 yards right now but that about it 20 and 30 yards they start to stray alot.

Looked at Jackson bow hunters this weekend and Going to Clinton county next weekend. Couldnt get thru to Twin Cedars and ShotrCreek Soprtsmen is just too far East ( last time i tried a shoot that far from the center of the State I about strung up) but the it sounded really nice.
