hey guys! anyone know if you can carry a pistol
when you hunt Squirrel with a shotgun or
22 cal rifle? :rolleyes:

Check out the ODNR web site. I looked but could only find info pertaining to carrying a handgun while deer hunting. The info you need is probably there somewhere I just didn't see it. You can also eMail them any questions you might have or also you can call the district office in Findlay.

I squirrel hunt with a 22 pistol browning buckmark and carry a glock 10mm for larger critters. I hunt with a pistol because this year I will be taking two kids with me.....easier to holster and have too free hands for the kids.

My 4 year old and his 2 year old sister. She is insisting on going..........I am sure there will not be much hunting mor e a field trip.......

I looked on ODNR also. It says conceal carry law doesn"t apply. So Iwouldnt hide it. Also if your in a state prk I believe its illegal but to be sure I would take Spring Fevers advice
