Has anyone gone on the ODNR site and purchased thier license (s) ? If so, how did it work out for you, and do they hold up through the season being printed on regular paper. Seems that if you get out and hunt a lot, they may become damaged before you get the opportunity to use them. Do any of you have suggestions on what paper to print them on? I was just curious to hear how they worked out for those of you who use this feature that the ODNR has introduced.

I bought my fishing lic on line and have not had any trouble with them at all,I used photo paper worked pretty good,But i think i'm just going to go to Wally world and buy my hunting lic and deer tag just for that reason" durablity" is my concern with the hunting tags.

Thanks CD, I guess "durability" was my concern too. I appreciate the info. I was going to go ahead and just give it a try but I thought I would poll everyone else first.

There has to be a better option than photo paper, but I am trying to figure out what that option would be. Maybe I'll just print them on photo paper and keep them in the old zip lock bag. That may just be a good option too.

Can you still buy them at Walmart?

What about buying non-resident liscense? Can you get them on line too?

Thunder yes you can buy NON residents on line,Could save you sometime also if your coming from another state,And yea the great old wally world the best place in town still sells them,Pretty bad when your local BASS PRO SHOP does not sell hunting or fishing lic ,but wally world does HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm

I wonder if they sell that no rip paper some place, that might be the ticket right there print it with a laser printer????

Just a suggestion,

I bought my license online and printed it on regular computer paper, then covered it with postal packing tape, the clear stuff. Seems to work out good because it doesn't take up the room of the old licenses and allows you to reprint them if needed.

Thanks, I was just currious. My buddy will need a non-resident liscense and tags.

How much are the non-resident liscenses? Are the tags the same price or more?

As long as I have leave papers all I need are deer tags.;)

Well, I bought my deer tags online this morning. Not a bad process to go through, we shall see how they hold up to the elements and all the hours I put in the stand. I think maybe I'll try the clear packing tape idea.

I scanned mine and copied it. Put one in every glove box, tackle box, fanny pack and wallet. OCD?

Bought mine at K-Mart, but I can see the process being convenient for out of staters, or at O'dark thirty on opening day.
