Just wondering why every time i get on this site there is NEVER anyone in the chat room???? CMON GUYS LETS CHAT!!!!!!!:D

I check while I'm on from time to time and don't see anyone in there. If i see some one in there i will go in. If we had something to tell us while we were in the forum that some one is in the chatroom. I think more guys would go in. Just my opinion.

I was noticing the same thing! That chat room is fun, although we (deer camp boys) haven't used it in a couple of weeks. Maybe we need to explain to some of the other registered users how it works, altough it is pretty simple. Come on everybody let's hear some chatter out there.

I got an idea about the chatroom ... we can set topic days ... like fridays .. hunting .. sat. fishing .. for a couple weeks to try to get people coming in and checking it out .. got to give people a reason to come in .. I have been in many times and have to talked with some great guys ... you just have to get people a reason to take the first step ... plus if you post a topic .. people can stop in just to listen and get a feel for it before they are expected to chat ...

That's the best way to get a bunch in there. Set a topic and a date and a time.

The chat room is called the campfire, it is up on the left side of the home page .. there is a link there you click on it and log in ...

i've been to the chat room,nobuddy comes,is everybuddy intimidated by the chat room.i think so,if you are not,then prove it,come an chat,tonight 10 pm.i be there.

How about a sticky on the forums list with a hot link & maybe a reminder, like 8:00 CHAT TIME ?
I've always enjoyed sportsman chatrooms. You get to know each other alot better than just the message boards. Jim

PS: Or just a link with the listings where all the forums are listed, near the top, near the hunting & fishing listings.

Unfortunately the chat room is out for me right now because the new window thing still isn't working.
