I was in heaven this morning. A perfect morning to be out in the fields, 55 degrees, totally windless, and the geese cooperated. My dad and I went out for the official start of our 2004-2005 hunting season. It felt good to get that adreneline rush again, had a great morning, saw deer, ducks, hawks, herons and even managed to get 5 honkers. Its amazing how getting outdoors makes you feel, I know they are just "lowly" geese, but man did we have a good time.

Our goose season opened either yesterday or today. It's for resident geese.

Every night there is a flock of resident geese that fly over my house. I've considered walking outside with my shot gun and trying to get one.....;)

I just love these cool mornings...This last week driving to work at 6:15 am Ive been seeing TONS of deer....and alot of nice bucks! Gets your blood pumping! Big time
