What's So D*!# Funny ....
Nothing we can think of. Please feel free to download a PDF copy of this ad to distribute, or link to it for others to see.

This ad is running in Time4Media and Primemedia publications. It helps to explain to sportsmen the importance of knowing the record some candidates have when it comes to firearms and hunting issues. What they say and what they do can amount to significantly different positions on issues important to those of us who enjoy the great outdoors and have contributed much to wildlife conservation and preservation of recreational lands.

I dont know who I will vote for but there are other important things (apart from a semiautomatic) we should consider before voting. We cant afford to get fixated on just one thing these days.

Absolutely right Hammer...heres a couple more things to think about....John Kerry voted to kill: Aegis anti aircraft system, B1,B2,F-16, Bradley fighting veh, F-117, F-15 Strike Eagle, FA-18, M1 Abrams tank, P-3 Orion upgrade, Patriot anti-missle system, EVERY aircraft carrier laid down since1988.. Voted to cut CIA funding 80%, voted to cut FBI funding 60%, NSA funding 80%,INCREASE US taxpayer funding of UN 800%!! Seems pretty obvious to me

Dont forget the swift boat guys who say he is a liar about his medals. That and his senete voting record is enough to make my mind up. George isn't perfect dont get me wrong, but he has good Christian values, he stands up for the farmer, and has given us the greatest tax break in us history. Plus Kerry wont let us know any of his plans if he would get into office. Like we are just gonna trust him blindly.

We have to select the lesser of two evils. I think I'm going with the guy who has a 4 year track record. Might not be the best, but at least Monica's not involved.

Most of the "facts" we know have been tempered with anyways. and I dont how any of these decesions affects americas growth. Decision like whether to make one more airplane or a ship does not affect anything. so what if we did not have one more aircraft. Have you ever realized how much your debt has increased in last 4 years. We have almost become a joke in the eyes of whole international community including our old friends ! You really think they are all worng and we are right and these things dont matter.
Anyways I dont want to get dragged in this discussion. In reality i dont think anyone is going to take our hunting rights away as its a billlion dollar industry and source for wild life dept funding and ofcourse keeping the wild life healthy. so we can relax a bit about it.

All I say is to just take a step back, listen to both sides with open mind, try to go to the other side and see what they have to say, reassess , take your time and then vote.

here is a good start to see the other side of the picture (http://www.moveon.org/front/)

I agree that if Mr Kerry gets elected he is not going to try to stop hunting. But, if you dont think there is a gradual erosion of rights happening in this country right now, you may be surprised some day. As soon as the population of non hunters becomes the majority(voters) there will be a liberal anti-gun politician taking advantage of the situation. If you dont think thats possible, ask the people of Ontario that live outside the large metro areas. I would be scared to death if I lived in NY or CA...decay usually starts on the fringes. I do not consider myself a hard core conservative, I voted for Jim Traficant for crying-out-loud, and our current president is far from perfect, but when it comes to my family and my guns, I am VERY conservative.

I think your dead wrong if you believe Kerry and cohorts won't move to mandatory registration of all guns, ammunition restrictions or registration, additional handgun purchase restrictions among other things. He may not get them right away but will accellerate a gradual reduction of all our rights.

Do you think he will work to improve our access to public hunting areas or move to limit hunting areas due to "environmental concerns". How can you trust someone like Kerry who shifts whichever way the wind blows. I say put him on a sailboat in the ocean where he can keep blowing his own horn and sail himself all the way back to France.

you guys know that 99% of these outrageous bills that you see each opponent blaming the other for are bills that are attached to bigger issues that these people voting dont even get to see... like these issues could have been attached to a bill to increase socialsecurity payouts.... you cant beleive these things from either candidate... if you want something to really decide on... look at bushes military record and then look at kerry's

Kerry is a liberal. Look at any liberals voting record and you'll find an agenda to remove arms from the people. In fact removing freedoms in general, now ask yourself why do they fear an armed populous?

fishinadam

maybe they fear armed public because the us has roughly 11,500 gun murders each year and other countries around the globe that have the same amount of guns / violent video games / violent movies have between 50-200 gun murders per year....

I put most of the blame for our high crime/murder no#s on the dang "Libs" who have passed laws to protect the crooks/murders more than us ... darn well pisses me off too!!!

Murderers .. I say "give 'em the chair" & cut the red tape krap so our enforcement officers/prosecutors can do there job - maybe I just watch too much TV & read too much & should keep my head in the sand!;)

Enlighten us adam, should we turn in our guns now to make the world safe? Is that what John Kerry and Sarah Brady would have us do to protect us from ourselves?

I'll only say this much: a liberal is a liberal whether he is a senator or a president. A conservative is a conservative whether he is a govenor or a president.

One more bit, I know there are things such as R.I.N.O's(republican in name only) and there are smooth talking moderates(ole Bill was one of the best), but to be a leader takes courage. If you throw out all the political nonsense such as agenda's and war medals and all that crap and look at one simple fact: GW Busch has done exactly what he said he would do FAR more often then Kerry has. GW has even done what he said he would do when it was unpopular. That is the quality of a leader!

we as sportsman and gun owners but mostly as law abiding citizens, must stand up for our rights and let the people who are in the position to speak for the majority and let our voice be heard to the rest of the nation, the old saying of the squeeky wheel gets the grease is working against us.
its no longer the majority voice or vote, it is he who screams loudest gets heard, and the uninformed minority is screaming louder than we are, which means if we dont let our voices be heard above and beyond the minority left wing group then they will most certainly get the fix that they ask for.
We must show them that we are much stronger in character and in number than they think we are, STAND UP FOR YOU RIGHTS AND PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE, remember, They are by the people and for the people.
The problem with this nation is not Gun ownership by law abiding citizens, it is the criminals who get their hands on guns by stealing or the black market, and instead of the laws punishing the law breakers to the most, we have things called defense attorneys and liberalist laws that prevent us from handing out the propper punishment to these people. its a shame they will throw you in prison for life over tax evasion but murder is only a few years, you tell me where their priorities are.
If you love your right to own a gun and hunt, you better vote Bush or its the biggest gamble you will ever make with your rights riding on th eline, In kerrys place I say" You gotta stand for something or you will fall for anything" he stands for everything "FOR AND AGAINST THE SAME ISSUES" He is a double minded forked tongue Wolf ins sheeps clothing.
BEWARE !!!! of Kerry and his Lies , he is just giving people ear candy where ever he goes, hes for the war in one place, hes against in another. DO WE WANT SOMEONE LIKE HIM AS OUR LEADER??????
I wouldnt want some one like him as even a friend much less my president

God bless
