I have not hunted squirrels in a couple years, I have been to busy woking and fall fishing..The fishing has been so poor this year I am getting back to pure fun, squirrel hunting.

I look forward to the season. Out doing some scouting this morning seen two. Was checking fence too. Need to fix some fence mybe I well see more then too. The deer are jumping it & not clearing it very well. Mybe I well get a good idea where to set up & bag me a limet first morning. Then I can fix them on an open fire. Yum Yum. :D Happy hunting;)

I'll be antelope hunting in Wyoming first week of squirrel season. But look out Squirrels the second week.

My huntin buddy & I always hunt the 1st weekend of squirrel just northwest of Lake hope near the county line. If you plan to be there the 1st weekend of the season... I try to stop in and get to know some of the gang. Although I don't post often I do check the boards from time to time.

well my jack russell earned his dog chow this morning , i got my limit of 6 in a hour in the same woods . the squirrels are glued to watching him raising cain barking treed at them while i lurk in the shadows in full camo , sniping them one by one . hopefully i'll do good again tommorrow . anybody else get any ? mark

I did make it out goose hunting last night w/ no results. I did get a phone call from my brother-in-law letting me know that as I was driving outthe lane two flocks flew right over his barn. I think I will be back out there tonight!
