Deer Camp Roster (Lake Hope - Nov.10-14)

Lets get a list of who is planning on attending camp this year. I need to know how much trout to bring. Last year I brought entirely way to much and had to take some home.

Hey Chopiq, are you coming to the pre-season party this year. We'll have to exchange info so we can get ahold of you when we get down there.

Yeah should be there again. It going to be at Wicks again? I need to get down to Lake Hope and do some scouting, going to hunt there this year instead of AEP recreation property. Hope I'm making the right choice.

Whats up there deer huntin guys? It is about that time of year. I can't wait. Of course I am going. As a matter of fact, Ray and I were just looking through our reservatiions for this year and counting the people going. One thing for sure is we will be bringing "fresh meat" to camp. What about a DVD player for the hunting videos? Less trout this year Spit. It was good but this old boy can only hold so much. And less chicken Wick. One half per person should do. That roster looks like about all we can handle in the cabin. Is everyone going to be there for the entire time or are some coming later in the week?

I'll be there for the week and Jon will be down Fri. night like last year. He has school commitments. There will be alot less trout than last year. I am thinking along the lines of two fillets per person. If we want we can chunk it up and deep fry it this year.
I am bringing the video camera down again this year but we are going to get some hunting footage w/ it. Yes, hunting footage!! That means we have to get out of bed and go out.

Chopiq, I spoke w/ Wick yesterday and he told me the party is on at his house once again. He said the weekend before the opener.

Can't wait to see everyone again this year at camp. It's a new tradition and we will have the best camp yet this year I have a feeling!

The park area has been closed down (due to hikers complaining to the division that hunters were hunting to close to the trails they were hiking on)could not believe that but i guess it was due time to happen.So my main hunting area for this year was gone in the wind.So i switch to plan B.
Plan B was to hunt some area's that i have hunted in the past.(King Hollow is open again)

OK cool! I think everyone else is going to try and show between 12 & 1. I am going to try and get there early and find our cabin. Maybe get a fire started and heating the chili up for lunch.

Skip school, it aint that important. Deer camp is only once a year and school lasts all year. And bring that darn car down so I can finish it off. Just strap the quad to the top of it.

Thought I'd post and ask when everyone is coming down to Lake Hope. My group is heading down this Saturday, 6th. We are meeting at the lodge at noon. We are staying in cabin 27 I believe. Stop and introduce youself. We are staying until Saturday the 13th. Should hit the weather and rut just perfect! I'll be driving a 2001 red extended cab dodge truck, John.

Most of us will be there next Wednesday the 10th. Not sure what cabin. Brian might be able to get that info. We are staying till that Sunday. Hope to drink a cold one with ya!!

You can do what you want to do JB, but Hoytme and I usually try to get on the road ASAP so we can still spend some of the day watchin football and unwind before the work week.
