How about some deep fryed trout this year. We can mix up a batch of beer batter and some extra seasonings and have a feast.

Hoytme2
08-05-2004, 08:25 PM
great, I was just going to ask if I needed to make it bigger again this year so Wick can put 75 chicken halves on it! No I can't make it any bigger or I might mistake it for a treestand. Of course grilled food while hunting dont sound bad! The old zaleski grill and sweet MC singing around the camp fire. Man does that sound like fun or what? Of course you cant forget about our yearly run in with "ranger Bill". Or even sweet JB riding wheelies down the road at lake hope on his 4-wheeler. I hope we run into Cuz and his Cuz again this year. That was 30 minutes of my life I will never get back along with those beers which neither of them obviously needed. We need to extend this deer camp to 5 days or even a week I have so much fun. Maybe one of us will actually get a deer if we stayed longer.

That's ok, it can double as a stand. I think you need to add a couple more wings to it so Wick can put those 75 chicken halves on it! Ranger Bill wanted to pull up a chair last year I think.
Sweet MC is going to jump on the 4-wheeler w/ just his cowboy hat this year and go hootin and hollerin down the road.
I hope Cuz and his friend Cuz don't come by this year. Those two were so plastered they didn't have a clue where they were.
We do need to extend it. How about Sunday to Sunday, that's how we used to do Deer Camp in PA. Talk about a good time!!!
This year we are going to get a couple deer early in the week and feast on fresh backstraps and inside loin cooked on the Zaleski Grill w/ newly added wings.:D
rjolenic
08-06-2004, 08:13 AM
So order the Zaleski grill now with new and improved wings for that additional grilling that you need to do. But wait, that's not all you get! With this one time offer you get a Wickmiester replica cowboy hat! This hat is nice after showers, 4 - wheeling or just "hanging out". So hurry and order the Zaleski Grill today, supplies are limited.

I agree. We have simplified meals at our camp prior to the time change. After the time change, look out....Ribs, steaks, potatoes, corn on the cob, foil pack this, foil pack that, beer can chickens, fish fries, etc. Our meals are the weekend highlight with the exception of the hunt. Good times, good food, good friends. It just doesn't get any better then that.

I whole heartedly agree buckmaster!!!!!!! We have cooked up some pretty good vittles over the years. I remember going to camp as a kid and my dad was always up before everyone else cooking breakfast in the morning before the hunt. Don't know if I could eat that stuff now before the hunt. I wouldn't be in the woods very long when the "pucker factor" would be kicking in.
