Tony. Join the club. I bought a cottage there last year and have yet to have a good day fishing. I mark a lot of fish, but catch very few. As a part time writer, I can get info from the state. I have learned what they turned up with their electro-fishing (and even went along on one trip) and it shows a good population of several species, including saugeyes.
Caught a few nice sized white bass and a crappie on July 3, but only a couple of small crappie and a small white bass last weekend.
I've tried, trolling, drifting, casting and anchoring. I've used various lures and live bait consisting of leeches, minnows and crawlers.
Last weekend I was trolling and met another boat that claimed to have had a livewell full by lunch, but nothing after that.
Let's keep in touch and maybe we can fisgure it out. I refuse to let a lake beat me so I'll be out there a lot this summer.

I still haven't figured out Atwood. I mark fish, but usually come back empty. I would be happy to catch a mess of crappies or bluegills.
So far I've tried trolling several lures and still fished and drifted with live bait. Tried leeches, minnows and nightcrawlers.
This has never happened on another lake. I usually can catch something:confused:
