-July 3rd BOD bite -- 4 Pm to 7:30 Pm
After a short pickle shower & "No" thunder, except for the M80s in the neighborhood:rolleyes: :D .. I plowed out to Tri @ 4 PM in the 1-3' Yahoo every-which-way slam waves - ran short lines one notch up on the loc-tites w/ 3 oz snap-weight 5' ahead of 1/4 oz R-traps for a 15-16' line-spread @ 2.7 to 2.9 sog & went to work (doin' my thing - wink) in the riled up water with a few spinnin' shad from the jet-blasters (purple holo G & firetiger)...
16 over 17"es with a 5-10 tops:) .. took the punch counter out cuz I thought this afternoons conditions were a Go - Yahoos or Not...
-really what made my day was that I brought in 6 lively 2.5 - 3 lb S-Eyes in the L-well for the old folks across the channel - seen Rick's (next door neighbor to Bob n' Tilly/da 90 yro old folks I help out) GKids fishin' across the channel as I was unloadin' the Beater I-Boat n' gave Rick a shout about castin' his GDaughters line up on top of my seawall & the next trip back to the Beater I would put a lil' See-Prize on the end of her line:eek: ... well she done a fine job crankin' it to the other side, but it kinda broke her line when her Big Bro tried to lift it outta the water ... talk about Big Eyes on a Lil' Gal ~ really made my day :) --
Here's a photo 3 seq of todays troll trail on Tri -- everything will say 1.8' as I was back home when I took the photos, but the true depth ranges from 3.1 to 4.5' ~ West end to East end...

PS ... I made a effort to stop @ 50 before comin' in, but didn't get the last set in quickly enough .. 7 doubles today also - busy old fart
