Did any one else get a chance to go to the Rendevous near Mt Vernon this weekend. I went up Sat and was really impressed. Its modeled after an old rendevous with outdoorsmen. Everyone is camping in outfitter type of tents and tepees. Everything is from the 1800's. There are about 75 different campsites. They have alot of muzzleloader shooters and muzzleloaders (flintlock type). Them guys can shoot, they were shooting at small green apples on a string. Also they have traditional bow and arrows competition. Alot of handmade bows and arrows for sale. Alot of furs and leather for sale also. Its about 3 miles west of Mt Vernon on Blue road off of 229.
