FYI--there is a paylake north of east liberty that is full of fish, and they are biting! i'm not talking about just catfish, ( although the owner states that he caught a 34 lb.'er and released it after taking pictures ):) . they have also stocked the lake with saugeye, walleye, yellow perch, and there is a great and awesome! population of crappie and big bluegills! the lake is only 13 acres, but it's spring-fed and depth-controlled. so, not nearly at mercy to the weather as other, bigger lakes are. and, no, i'm not getting any kickback from the owners for telling you about this lake! the normal fee is 5 dollars per day, per person for catch-and-release, and 10 dollars per day if you keep your catch! not bad, considering how much money we spend for "no-hits" at some of the other impoundments! the number to call for more info is ( area code 937) 355-0060 or 355-3407. i will post directions for any folks who are interested in trying this little lake out! the owners are really good people, and will treat you with courtesy and fairness! BTW, they have all kinds of live bait too!

BTW, this little lake's name is "Hide Away Haven", and offers campsites, cabins, a swimming lake, picnic areas, and many other conveniences i prolly forgot to mention. very clean and well kept up. most everything i saw was recently mowed and made nice and neat for the "city slickers" lol!

come on, hammerhead, with the weather as bad as its been, and as screwed up as the bigger lakes are because of it, i would have thought people would find this post refreshing! at least, until the other lakes get straightened out, the smaller places, such as this one, might give the "real" fisherman here a chance towet their hook and maybe catch somethin'! if it was an advertisement, i'd post the name and directions and website, and ask for payment for the service! take "chill pill" and go fishin' for god's sake!
