That prior to stocking Grand Lake St. Marys with walleye we never had sheephead present?
Now it practically impossibe to go catfishing or perch fishing without catchin' 1 or more of the danged things.
There's been a whole slue more sheephead caught than 'eyes, and 'eyes is what they were trying to stock.
Does anyone know..........do bass, crappie, and bluegill find walleye fry and fingerlings more tastey than sheephead? Come to think of it.......the crappie i've caught the last few years this stocking has been going on have tast remarkably like maumee river walleye.......lol....just kidding.......but its the truth about the sheephead situation.
