Hawghunter.....check out www.nws.nooa.gov for pool levels on the Ohio;) Save it for further reference in your "Favorites". Pike Island is still high, swift, and muddy at around 24.7' as of today. I was itchin to try for smallies and can't get out:mad: Decided to head for Conneaut tommorrow as conditions are looking good for Erie thru Thurs:D .....TF
Hannibal Dam is fishable again. Though the fishing is really slow Hawg Hunter. Memorial Day tourney out of New Martinsville had 56 teams show for the Miller Tournament. 7lb-5oz took first. A 4lb 8oz largemouth helped with the wait. 20 boats came in with fish. 37 total caught. This should give you an idea how tough the bite is now. Havent heard anything out of the pools North of here. Hopefully its better up your way. Me and my partner grabbed the net several times Sunday, to find out catfish, walleye, drums were on the other end.:( Hey Turkeyfoot, do any good at Conneaut? The jumbos should be about ready. I cut hay down today and have around 4000 bales to put up. Should be done by mid month and Conneaut and Presque Isle is next on my agenda. ;)

205......We caught some real nice fish, just not any #s! Wed evening my son landed a 5 1/2# smallie, a 6# eye, and a 15 3/4" perch that exceeded the state record in length but not in weight! He's mounting the perch along with another 13"er on droftwood for display in his shop.
Cold front rolled thru over night and totaly shut the bass down Thurs:mad: IWe resorted to trolling the 18-20' drops and bass would'nt even hit Shadraps. But, I did get another 6# eye that made my trip on a shadrap.
Plan a trip to Dunkirk, NY if you can. YThe powerplant discharge is dynamite right now. Heard a report from a buddy that one guy took 124 bass in one day, his personal record. Now that's one heck of a day on the water:) ......TF
