I like to C & R Troll for sUMo S-eyes & rarely bring one in for a photo .. Well my next door neighbor "BlueGill Web" just can't get the hang of trollin' for S-Eyes on his Toon over shallow 3' humps:rolleyes: :p

Any-Who ~ Ole' Web asked me if-in' I'd bring him back a couple of eaters for dinner, as he was a-gettin' burnt-out on Gills & Crappie .. Ole' Raybob says "Sure enough, No problem" LoL ;)

So I dropped the Beater I-Boat in the ~~~~~ & commenced S-Eye trollin' for a hour & a half or so .. I came in with the one above & a pair of 18-19" Eaters in the livewell. I slipped the 7 on the bottom hook & the 2 eaters a couple of notches up the stringer & hung it off my seawall - heheh! :p

Then I walked around to the other side of my fishin' shack to Web's place & told him I brought him back a couple of Eaters ~ Ole' Web follows me back to the boathouse seawall & lifts the stringer aways & says "Oh Yeah" when the 1st one comes in sight & then as he goes to lift the stringer outta the ~~~~~ he Hollars drops the stringer & Kraps his Pants when he sees the bottom one:eek:

It was Choice for Sure!!! :D :D

She was C& R-ed to grow a Lil' more after the Photo & who knows, she may return another day to put one to Ole' Web

The year before last I was a-cleanin' some S-Eyes for the Old Folks across the Channel & I noticed Web was asleep on his back deck with a couple of long rods out & a half spent Brewskii on the table ~ well Ole' Raybob slips on over to the rod Web has stuck into my chain-link with a meatless S-Eye .. puts it on his hook with a handful of stones down da chops & sticks it back in the channel with his bobber under .. I wait about 10 min & tell a few neighbors, then walk around to Webs & wake him up with a cold one on the belly, once he gets over that he notices his bobber is down .. Ya can figure the rest out for yourself ~ Twas a Blast!!!:D

Dang .. just noticed this is the Cold Water MB ~ gettin' old & drifty for sure!

Jason,

I was thinking the same thing myself. It's nice to see a familiar name, but then again you are everywhere. I see a lot of post from you on TSS too.

You can only fish and go to school about 14 hours aday so that leaves alot of time to surf the net. Especially when the rivers aren't exatly in prime condition.

I caught that salmon 1-1.5 miles south of millhollow park.......
Went back 3 days later and found 2 groups of salmon spawning (nothing of real size-all 10 pounds or less). I heard that last year a ton of salmon were caught up by route 2 bridge area.

Nitro,
The photo needs to be uploaded to a photo hosting web page. Then you plug the URL to your photo in the IMG line. I beleive Steve has plans to add photo hosting to this site but I'm not sure what the time frame is.

that's where Netscape is easier than IE ~ just view your photo, then right click - copy image location & drop the link on here ~ with IE I think you have to use property & then carefully c & p the link before usin' it elsewhere.

I'll try to slip over to Cherokee & snap a couple of photos of the campground as it looks now for you .. kinda need some soft water to drop the boat in. It is about a half mile West of my water-front home @ Chippewa.

Hi Redneck66. Welcome to the forums.

Nice fish you have there.

If you want to post a pic, just put [.img] before your link address...and [./img] (Take out the period I put in each one tho) after it with no spaces anywhere.

Here's your pic. :)

Howdy Ben! I remember that chilly/foggy May morning like it was yesterday!

Just started trolling along a bank and noticed some bassers in front of us, so I did the right thing and steered wide to give em plenty of room. As we went around em I noticed one of em bent over big time. At first glance I said is he snagged up and Jack M. says I don't know. Then I noticed his bass rod pumping pretty violently! I started reeling poles in and told Jack let's watch this. Figured it was gonna get hairy(Muskie on bass equipment)!;) Then We moved a little closer to make sure they had a net. Did'nt figure they did, because the other angler was holding a camera waiting for the fish to surface! We threw em a net and watched em land it! Pretty fish that was scarred up from spawning. 39" I believe? Nice to have helped and met Future bass pro and Redneck66(Ben)!!!! Best part was Ben released it healthy. Worst part was Ben stuck his hand in the gill plate! OUCH!!

That day blew my mind the bassers were hooking bunches of muskie on little(tiny) stuff. We eventually got in our boxes and dug out the smallest stuff we had and trolled up a 33"er off of a point. I think it was on a fat free shad?

Ready for Spring guys!;)

Hey Buckeye Tom, good to talk to ya again. That was a memorable event. I dont know what we would have done if you guys wouldnt have come to the rescue with the net. I guess i would have ended up one lure less than when i started. After that morning Future Bass Pro(AJ), was pretty much hooked on musky fishing and he didnt even catch it! I have to be honest he did end up catching more musky than i did that summer. Beginners luck i think. Looking forward to seein ya on the water again. Hit me up with an email next time ya'll are down there.
