A friend just purchases some land in Harrison county about ten or twenty miles from Tappan Lake. I'm curious about the duck and goose activity in the general area. With three big lakes nearby and no hunting (?) allowed on them, combined with the Ohio river off to the east, I'd figure there would be a great many geese and ducks flying the area. His land is high on a ridge and so I'd be limiting myself to fly by shots and decoy spreads in a small meadow.
