spent the afternoon trollin' indian lake with raybob(links r us)and had a blast:cool:
the bite wasn't hot,but we managed 7 keeper eyes 18-20 inches,along with several smaller ones,and had several come unbuttoned.nothin' like two old and drifty farts just trollin' along,shootin' the bull and catchin' fish.had a couple chinese fire drills with 3 fish on at once,planer boards gettin' tangled and such:D

Never fished Indian Lake. Looking forward to the trip this summer. What is the horsepwer limit?

None ~ just marked No-Wake areas in bays & channels .. please try to give the fishermen a wide berth when passin' ~ something that many/most peter-breath weekend Yahoo's don't have a Clue about!!!:eek: :rolleyes: :cool: :D

I didn't make it out today after 5 straight days of trollin' ~ gale force winds all day today with the main lookin' milky brown late this afternoon on the Northside -- tonite North winds n' a cold front hit -- eek :eek: for Sat:(

WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH THIS EVENING...BECOMING NORTHWEST BY MIDNIGHT.

The old and drifties strike again. :D Good show guys. I havent been really out and about for about a week. Wont be this weekend unfortunatly. Hopefully soon though.

Thursday had a slow scattered bite & I slowed up to 3.3 - 4.4 sog with a ave sog of 3.7 for the day ... the 2 days prior for a hot-bite with flatline cranks n' traps I pulled at 4.0 - 5.5 sog with on-plane switchbacks...

-Trolling Speed-
By that req ~ I posted the above boat speed ... but I thought you might also be interested in lure speed w/boat control at the above speeds --
-Most the good Eyes over 18"es in 4 - 1.8' of water have been slammin' @ 2.5 - 3 sog inside lines with boat control Ss-Zs-Circles ... dumb dinks will hit at straight-line speeds up to 7-8 sog...

Congrats on a good day of trollin up some saugeyes. I hope to get them going at Alum Creek real soon.
