Now how can anyone tell that? Was there some ancient caveman writings or is it the authors own specutlation?

well this kid an his brothersister an the others noticed this lil stick really packed a wallop,an it didnt take long that the 2 brothers figured they could tie a string of sinyew from end to end, they cut a small stick, sorta straight an placed it on the string propelling the stick a great distance.the kids hoping one day to be great hunters took there toy to an older caveman hunter asking what he thought about the new toy an if maybe it could be used for hunting.

THE KIDS SHOWED THEIR TOY TO THE HUNTER AN ASKED IF IT MIGHT SERVE WELL IN HUNTING.the old caveman hunter asked the kids to throw the stick with their toy at a tree a lil distance off.one of the boys sent the stick off several times an striking the tree only once or twice but the force of the lil stick hitting an bouncing back almost back to them impressed the old hunter an he advised the kids to make a bigger stick an to tie a stronger pc. of senyew from each end,and to get a longer stick to throw out of it.

I FORGOT TO ADD that the kids were shooting each other with the lil bent stick an the lil straight stick was puttin a good hurt on the one gittin struck by it.this is when they started wondering how it would do on game when huntin.

I just finished reading a book that said paintings on a cave were found in Lascaux France in 1940 that show buffalo with arrows sticking out of it. The paintings are said to be 25,000 years old.

Other researchers also beleived that the bow may have even been invented 100,000 years ago. If so then it only took the human species between 100,000 and 200,000 years to come up with the best sport their is!!

well the 2 brothers got a bigger stick about 3' long an tied a stronger pc. of sinyew from each end.they also got a stronger, thicker stick an sharpend one end to a point.they hurried to the old man with their crude but stronger stick and showed it to him, again he instructs them to hit the tree an after many attempts they managed to hit the tree sticking the stick that was being thrown into the tree.the boys realized the stick an string was out of balance with one end small, the other big,so they balanced it by makin the other side small to,improvin accuracy,immediately...

"THE STORY OF AB"(which contains this part bout the first bow an arrah) was written by STANLEY WATERLOO"Although many new discoveries have been made about primitive man since MR. WATERLOO wrote this story,it is still one of the most fasinating books of its type ever written."
