fishing piedmont lake 5/9

Fished a few hours around the dam area from the shore and caught a four pound muskie,my first, on a crankbait. Also caught about 10 rockbass, 2 of them were around a pound.Caught them on nightcrawlers. Tried for some catfish with no bites. Also caught 1 small bass on a jerkbait. Did see alot of carp,but didnt have any bait for them to see if they are biting. Maybe the fishing is finally starting to pick up.

Grats! I cant wait to fish peidmont.... maybe next saturday...I am 1/2 hour from st claresville.... How long does it take to get to peidmont from there?

From st.clairsville it takes about 25 minutes to get to the dam.

My sister-in-law's husband limited out on saugeyes the other night after work in a couple hours. Trolling shallow running Shadraps in the Renoylds Road area was the ticket!;) .....TF
