22 fish 8 shy of the limit... 44 ft deep > dead north of the light house, I gave up on the limit when a storm rolled in at dusk , heard on vhf small craft advisory from the canadian side, , lake 1 ft or less all afternoon , flat as glass mostly ........ also got a 15 inch sheepshead, a little goby who swims no more and on the way in trolling a rapala on the east wall I caught 2 HUGE smallies both released, heard alot of radio chatter today and there were literally hundreds of bass caught in 15-30 ft , also some guys caught some walleyes in the perch packs pictures at > http://ohfishing.com/stl-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=546

Sounds like you and the retriever had a good day out on the water. Thats good to hear! If you're fishing out of Huron often keep us posted about the smallmouth bass fishing. I know they're out of season now, but I would sure like to hear about the bite. My uncle and I might go up that way in the summer to try for a trophy.

Nice pics.... I love it when lake erie is smooth as glass! When the waves have white caps ya get sick of rocking around all day... and when you get off the boat ya still feel like you are rocking the waves,,,lol
