I was searching the public libraries database today and I plan on going down tomorrow to get a card and check a couple books out. They had some new deer hunting books that sound good.

I have nice little library of books also. A few by Greg Miller. I can't afford to buy books (anything really right now) so the library will do me fine.

yes i like greg miller and like him i do use rub activity to pattern big bucks,i have more success with using rubs than scrapes, especially early bowseason just before things heat up,bout hallow ween time.also i have many on the rights and ethics of hunting.

Ted has my respect, He works hard to educate and defend hunter's rights. He for sure walk's the walk.

Just got back from the library where there were several books I wanted to check out. But I just got done reading most of "Legendary Whitetails" and started "Hunting Ohio's Trophy Whitetails". I also got "Treestand Hunting Strategies" and "The Ultimate Guide to Bowhunting". Next time I go back I want to get "In defense of hunting". In reading "Legendary Whitetails" I learned that the Hole in the Hole in the Horn buck was from it getting caught in the fence by the railroad tracks after it was hit by a train. I had heard all kinds of stories but this story sounded legit.

in defense of hunting is one book all hunters should read,i think its complicated and sometimes i wondered whos side the author was on but in the end he made good points in defense of hunting.

I'm pretty exicted about a book I found for $2 at the book store called "Bowhunting" by Jim Dougherty. The 1st couple of chapters have been real good.
