After buying and rigging up some bigger cat busting rods over the winter I've already got the itch to catch a few. Nothing like hearing the clicker sing off line when you get a hit. Anyway, was wondering if anybody has been catching any anywhere. How deep and with what methods and bait? Particular interest in Mosquito and Findlay lakes, but anywhere is good.

I am headed to the Cuyahoga River on Sunday. When I was a kid we would get some big ones at night in the shallows. Chicken livers are the ticket.

George - I have been having good luck @ Alum Creek Reservior. Fishing really shallow 3-4ft at dusk. Caught a few over 7#. There is one spot that is good now through end of summer as long as the water stays high enough.
