... 3 of us had a good on & off afternoon of crappie fishin' with around a 100 cleanin' size between us ~ jigs - no meat, kinda like tuna fishin' cuz about every 3rd one flew off the hook behind me while long-roddin' -- shoulda mashed the barb down as a after-thought

Rick .. the good ones in no#s only move this far back in a couple of times every spring. I lucked into a slab on a S-Eye jig a lil' after hi-noon & went back inside for the long-rod & found that they were in. Don't feel bad cuz I got into them by myself beside the house while Web was out catchin' very little one day last spring ~ I had around 40 slabs waitin' for him when he came in, but his toon scared the remainer back toward the ramp & they were then scattered - heheh

PS .. cold lake water from the last few days & a nice warm protected channel was the name of the game today.
