if a squirrel is causing damage on my property am i allowed to shot them on my property, all i have is a .177 cal scoped bb rifle and i have killed 1 before with it in my garden so i know i can kill them i just dont know if its legal?

I think that if the season is in it would be legal as long as your not violating any county or town ordinances, or you have a damage control permit or what ever they call it. But to be on the safe side I would check with the local wildlife officer in your county, sometimes trying to read the game laws and interpret just what they mean is a hard thing to do. If in doubt check with the man or woman (wildlife officer) he or she won't steer you wrong.

okay, i was not sure i just keep getting my garden tore up and i cant stop them any other way, ive tried fox a dog urine that u buy and spray in the area but it dont scare them, and i do like to hunt them
another question: is a bb gun a legal hunting weapon?
