I launched the boat in my favorite SW OH gravel pit on Friday and did very good on LM Bass and Bluegills. In 4 hours I caught 9 bass(most 10-14", 2 15''+)and over 40 gills 7-10''. Everything was caught on small tubes; color didn't seem to matter much, but I probably did best on green. I kept 10 gills 9''+ for a small fry and released everything else.
A new first - I ran my trolling motor completely dead, forgot my spare battery, and my trailor was on the other side of the pit. You should have seen me using 1 oar to paddle to the other side!:D My shoulders sure were sore!:D
