The EPA says the fish are getting dangerous to eat eh? Well, Russells ole tombstone is gonna read "Died of Mercury Poisoning" :) Instead of lowering the limits again and again and again, they might just as well make all catch and release! Then we can all go to the supermarkets and BUY all of our fish. Wonder if they will lower the limits on the netters? ;)

From what I have read the Mercury is thru the whole food chain including the fish they use to make the pellets to feed farm raised Fish.
So we might as well suffer thru and go catch our own fish. :D

i think its all bulls**t, they just want to be able to lower the limits, without people complaining about it, its cheaper for them, they dont have to stock as many fish if nobody is eating them or if the limits are lower, with all of the epa rules now things have to be cleaner, just look at erie now compared to 15 years ago

If you would only know the truth!! Just in my old city i used to live in there was a creek that eventually goes into lake erie. In a 2 mile stretch there was 2 wastewater treatment plants on the creek. They both had over flow tanks BUT when it rains hard the over flow tanks fill fast and all the RAW wastewater goes straight into the creek. Its terrable!! Thats only a small stretch of 1 creek....just imagine how much raw wastes go into lake erie....Unbelievable!! I dont doubt that the lake is polluted.. It may look better but its not much better then years ago.
