Mine didn't......

I got married when I was stationed in California. My wife is a buckeye, but no one in her family hunted. I used to talk about it all the time, but she just figured it was something I did when I was in high school.

One day I got orders back to the East coast and then tried to make up for nine years of not hunting..... :)

Needless to say she wasn't pleased, but she eventually came around...

My handle came from:

hunting Caribou is my all time dream hunt, someday when i get rich.So i dream about hunting caribou up in the arctic zone so thats how it came about.SOMEDAY I WILL GET TO GO!!!!!!!!

Did you do any good in 2001 on your hunt??

Did you go with a outfitter??

rackman
04-12-2004, 09:27 PM
My dad and I did our own hunt in Tic Chic park and flew as far in as we could (150 miles). It was a trip of a life time! We used no outfitter but did our homework and both got nice bulls and caught a few salmon. I wont say it was cheap but I had less in the trip than I would have going on a good elk hunt. I am going to try to go again next year. If you ever go I would recomend a do it yourself trip because I talked to a few other hunters that got taken while we were in Dillingham. I would also recomend going to Alaska over Canada because of the price. If you ever have any questions give me a hollar.

Deer camp is a time of year when a bunch of guys get together and have some fun and hunt deer together and have a good time telling stories around the camp fire.We all come from different parts of the state to meet in one area to have a good time some of us hunt and some don't that just hang out and have a good time it you choice.

There is usually several different camp so you can pick whichever one fits you schedule better.
More details will follow when it get closer to camp time:D

Thunderflight....$2,000 on your daughters bedroom suite:eek: I guess we all know who daddy's little girl is!!!

My wife brought me home a $5000 wish list (furniture) for the new house. I have to buy a new roof and gutters first. She might get half to start.:D I do concede that we need some going to 2500 sq ft. To much house but its a great deal.

Thunderflight

Oh the wife isn't done yet. She also wants an amoire for the bed room.....

Good thing I'm getting promoted in August. :)

My house is 2300 square feet. That's not including the two car garage. It's our first home. I've been living in base housing for the last 13 years. The place I'm moving outta is only 1200 square feet. ;)

I bought the place as an investment. I'm hoping to make 30 to 50 gran when I sell it 4 to 5 years from now.
