Hunting & Fishing in 1931/32 season

Squirrel -- september 15 to October 1st -- 4 per day
Ring-neck Pheasants-- Nov. 15th to Nov.25--4 per day
Rurred Grouse -- Protected --- no season
Ducks--Oct. 1st to Dec. 31st --- 15 per day -- WOW!
Gees-- Same as above -- 4 per day
Rabbits --Nov. 15 to Jan. 1st--5 per day
Deer --- they are protected -- No season

The good ol' days --- Hummm, maybe not.

The Crow, Great Horned Owl, English Sparrow, European Starling, Chicken Hawk, American Goshawk, Blue Hawk, Cooper Hawk, Sharp Shinned hawk and the Duck Hawk may be killed and their nest destroyed at any time except Sunday

The bounties on the above hawks and owls was $1.00
A bounty of 25 cents was paid for the head of each Crow.

Hunting License Fee was $1.00 with $.25 additional for the clerk.

Probably didnt have any in the whole state. :( Yea I believe that these are the good ole days for deer hunting for sure. Hope it stays that way so my grandchildren will be able to hunt them.W ith all the CWD and other diseases it is scary.:confused:

I wouldn't have been hunting too much it looks like in that time period. Guess I would have to go for rabbits and squirrels.

I think deer were pretty much gone from the state around 1900, they sure have made a comeback..I just hope it stays that way, and dont get a disease that will kill them off in large numbers.
