So I just got my new .223 and I decided to take my girlfriends dad out and sight it in on his property. Now his property got some pretty good media attention a while back. He owns the land on both sides of I-71 and lambert road....that is where the "highway shooter" shot from. So I fire off about two rounds and within three or four minutes we have an airplane circleing us at a VERY low altitude, and within 10 minutes we had two airplanes above us! Oops! So we called the sheriff and told them that we were just target practicing and they called the calvery off our backs. We shold have known better than to shoot there. I did get my rifle sighted in though.

Wow I bet that got the heart goin. I was puting siding on a house by myself when I hear a couple loud thumps and yells from the street. This dude was try to carjack a truck, beating on the window while the truck is peeling off. Then he fell off and ran towards my house and didn t see me duck around the back, he went right acrosss the front yard and jumped in between a house a couple doors down. The next 10 minutes I see helicopters flying around above me and take off. It scared me so bad I had to pee like a racehorse. I went to the back of the garage to take a leak, the copter comes back while Im in the deed. Im like O great they think Im hiding from them. But they left and chased him down a few miles away when he carjacked another car and got caught robbing after bank. That was way too close for comfort!~~

yikes now thats not funny, glad you werent "violated" either way.

My buddy was almost car jacked a week earlier in a cleveland suburb while he was on the phone with me. Crazy experience to say the least
