I'd be more than happy to share the bounty.

Bad thing is pork doesn't stay like venison. So you'd probably have to come down to get some. :)

To bad you can't make hog jerky.

You can Thunderflight and its Good!!! I get a big thick 2" steak and trim off the fat, make jerky slices out of it like peeling an orange going around. Marinate it in "Wildlife Seasoning" jerky spice pack from Gander MTn. I dont use any liquid just powder each peice and let marinate over night . Bake in the oven at 350 on a rack till its to the tufff steak level, not crispy burnt.
Or maybe Ill have to come show you how and try it on a hog of my own. :D

Thanks lunker for the information. Now TF won't have an excuse not to give us some of his fine hog, ha ha. I will expect some of that hog. Good luck.

Have fun, TF. I leave for Texas next Tuesday. We can swap stories around the end of the month.

I'm hoping to get a couple this year.

I want to have a pig roast. :)

A couple in the 30 to 40 pound range would be perfect. If I shoot a really nice boar with my bow then I may get him mounted too.

Only time will tell.

A nice little pig like that would go good on the spit. Mmmmm. Here piggy, piggy. :D

Hey TF, I bet that swamp mud will look pretty good to you after seeing nothing but ocean water and sand for all of those months!
