Be careful if your fishing Milton.Ran into some NASTY ice down near #76 bridge this evening. Most of the lake was 3 1/2"-4"
There was what looked like slush running from #76 bridge WNW almost all the way to Robinson Point boat launch. Drilled a hole at the edge of it and it was 1 1/2". Needless to say I made tracks due North and got out of there.
3 dinks,1 keeper, vibees tipped with a piece of minnow.
Wanted to post a pic,but seen I wasn't allowed.

thanks for the update on the ice at milton, i haven,t been there in a few years, but maybe this year i,ll get over there before the thaw.there,s a hump out in the east side that has deep water on both sides, that might be a good spot to try in the eve. i may even go to berlin and see whats up there.

Snag,
Thats where I ended up fishing. Like the flat down by the #76 bridge a little better, but with the bad ice couldn't get there safely.
