I thought there might have been a thread on this big buck already, but I didn't see one.

This giant buck was taken by a friend of a friend last Thursday (11-05-09) and I thought you guys might enjoy the pictures. From what I have heard he stalked and shot this hog after seeing him bedded down. I believe it was in Richland County...somewhere around Shelby. Full body mount is in this bucks future.

He posted these pictures on Trapshooters.com and there are a few more pics over there to see if you are interested. If I hear any more details about the story I will post it later.

When I checked mine in on Friday morning I asked about any other big ones. They said there was a 15 pointer before mine on Friday morning and a 21 pointer on Thursday night. It looks very similiar to the one in the picture. What an awesome buck though.

The fella who harvested this buck reports it has 20 points, so it is probably the one you heard about. Do have any pics of yours and/or the 15 pointer? Congrats BTW.

I know it was shot with a Hoyt Razortec so that is why I asked. Thanks for the feedback.

If it is the one that I am thinking it is, it was checked in at the Den. Keep an Eye out on the News Journals Website and you will catch a picture of it.

That is like 5 miles from my house. I never saw or heard of this deer. Until he was shot. I guess if I knew about him though I wouldn't be telling anybody either.

No kidding :D. All those gas guzzlin trucks they all have. They should go green and buy a car to haul those things around in. They would get better gas mileage if they did lol. ;). I bet if they all see what size deer you stuck in there they will all come to the light pretty soon lol. I at least know who should sponsor you next year .
