This past weekend hunted all weekend. On saturday i saw this nice buck approx 12-13 pts. He wouldnt come in range, closest he came bout 60 yards, he already had to does with him, so he wasnt intersted in any of my calls. So sunday morning i went to the same place, i was about 20 minutes late into the woods, and i sat down on my log and took on my bionoculars and heard leaves and twigs snapping. I look at the hillside and i see a squirrel so i watch him for a few mins then i put down my bioncs and 20 yards infront of me is that 12 or 13 pt broadside, im pretty sure he is a non typical. I shot hit him high and to the left, right in the shoulder blade. He stubles jumps a little creek and runs into a tree and my arrow breaks and iabout an inch and the broadhead is still in him. I hit him right in the shoulder blade. looked for him all day yesterday nad for a lill 2day, no luck. Athere was one drop of blood, little drop next to the tree he hit. So 2day my neighbor comes to me and says he saw a big buck with a limp, but he looked healthy. :D So hopefully i can get another shot and him, im just happy hes still movin aroud with the does.
