Razor wore me out today. We started hunting around 7:00am and gave it up at 4:00. We made 6 stands. We took a break at lunch time and his wife made a great lunch for us. I haven’t had biscuits and gravy for years I ate more than I should have.
Now for the hunting. Well we didn’t get any coyotes JD saw one pull the sneak down wind and disappear. We saw a bunch of deer and I got to see a lot of beautiful country around Belfountain. I wish we had country like that here around Lima!
After the one hour trip home I almost couldn’t get out of the truck. After supper my wife made me help with the dishes. Couldn’t she see I was whipped! I don’t get any sympathy in my own home. Won’t be long until I am checking out for the night.
Thanks JD

It never ends! When I was unloading my hunting cloths I noticed a little wetness the floor of my truck. I thought it was dampness coming out of the cuffs of my bibs. This morning I stopped at the Pony Keg carry out for my morning cup of coffee. When I got back in my truck I could smell anti freeze. Shortly after I took off the truck over heated. Lots of water on the floor, windows were fogging up. Had to stop and put some water in the reservoir and baby it back home. At least it waited until after I got home. I will be taking it to the shop tonight after the wife gets home.

I have been married for 23 years. She is glad to get rid of me when ever she can. I just let her boss me around last night because I was too tired to fight about it. :D

Does anybody have any good plans for a perm. tree stand?

Ohio Bill, I'v got a few permanent tree stands on our place. There made out of treated lumber. 2x6's are used for the main supports and the flooring is with plywood. Every year before useing them I check them out by useing a regular ladder just to be on the safe side. One nice thing about perm. tree stands is that I make up dummies out of black garbage bags full of leaves that I put up in the stands. The deer sort of get used to seeing something up in the trees. I use pole barn nails to hold them togeather. "Matt"
Rofl Steve:D Kicks ya when your down:D Sounds like you guys had a good day out and about. Killin is secondary, just getting out is No.1. ;)
