Hello all,
Shot my ohio buck two days ago I'll post pic later and story. Am heading to North Dakota in november and bowhunting private land with a ton of deer. I've always rifle hunted this place which has no pressure and finally am going to take the leap and bowhunt since I haven't drawn a buck rifle tag in the lottery in 5 years:yikes:. What is a good dependable blind for the $? I'd like quiet windows and perhaps some loops that can help "brush in" the blind. I've never blind hunted before though I have shot several deer from the ground. Any tips and experiences would be greatly appreciated. I know there will be a lot of Double Bull suggestions but let's just say I'm looking $100-$200 range.. got a lot of gas to buy on the way out there. Looking to do some decoy action and hunt from my tree stand and the blind.

I just bought my first blind at Dick's for 50% off (normally $199, got it for $99). It's not the best blind out there, but it'll fit two people. 60"x60"x67"H. It has plenty of windows and shoot through netting. It has some loops for brushing in as well. Only negative is that the black material inside is a tad shiney so it reflects light a little bit. I'm by no means a blind expert but I shot a doe out of it my 3rd time out.

I am new to blinds but I just bought an Ameristep Bone Collector. Got it at Cabelas for $200. It is really easy to setup and take down and it is really roomy. The material it is made of is really quiet. It has the small loops for brushing in. It has shoot through mesh but the mesh is also removable and the regular windows have small elastic loops that attach to a small plastic piece on the inside of the blind. They are nice because you can open a window up without any noise. I shoot expandables so I will probably remove all the mesh. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here that hunt from blinds a lot so hopefully more will chime in. Hope this has helped.

Promos escape deluxe!!! Great blind, lots of room. I can stand and shoot. I believe the dimensions are 77" inches of shooting and 75" high. I found it at bass pro shop for 129.00. I really like the hub system, same as the "double bull". Very well built!
