Got some rabbits....

My buddy and I finally had a decent day. We went out Friday morning and we each got a rabbit. The dogs got on 5 rabbits and the 2nd one shot they ran for about solid 20 minutes. They had trouble with the last few because they were in a real swampy area and the track was tough to stay with. It was nice to finally get them back out into the field. Then, the rains came and for the most part washed out the rest of this weekend. Hopefully, it will get cold again and we can get out for a few more.

Glad to here you had a good time. I wish I had to time to get out. I have four beagles and can't even get close to the field right now.

Come on Dane, we need to get out and chase some bunnies or birds again before the season is up. Besides I might be moving to St Louis soon. Let me know

I'm in Cincinnati for school at UC. Do you know anywhere around Cincinnati public or private that would be good for shed hunting. I know this the "Small Game Hunting" forum. Thanks

Yes, East Fork Lake about 30 mins outside of Cincinnati should have plenty of sheds. The public property around the lake has alot ot deer. Also i would try some of the larger municipal parks around hamilton county. Alot of them have deer and they do not get hunted. I use to live in Hyde Park and saw deer all the time in and around the neighborhood. These bucks had huge racks.
