There ain't no deer in Ohio...
Only southern Ohio boys near WV use the word "ain't".
You could get together with them and hunt WV. :D

Hey now! Them there are fighting words!!! HAHA...
I work in WV and travel most of the state west of the mountains. One thing about WV is that the deer move all day and they do it all year long. I've seen as many deer at lunch as I have during the day. Now they do have two legs shorter than the other two, but they move pretty well despite their obvious handicap! I even found two great places to hunt last week while walking some property I am trying to buy for our company. To be honest, it was a great spot and I'm positive the buck using that bed and rub line was legit for WV and probably just about anywhere else...
I am taking two WV hunters out in Ohio this year. The one guy is a new bowhunter I have been working with all summer. I can't wait to see him shat his pants when he sees the deer over here! The other guy hunts good land for WV and still wants a piece of Ohio! Both offered to take me out in WV and I had to ask: "What the hell would I do that for?"

Go west young man, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma. You would find it near impossible to find a spot in Ohio that is not already leased by guys from Texas, MS, Florida.

Then there is no sense in raising the NR tag prices, right?:mischeif::cheeky-smiley-022:

Are you even allowed to own guns in that state? Maybe you should go to Chicago and hunt gang-bangers and crooked politicians, isn't ACORN season coming up? :yikes:

Outdoorsman,
I live in Pike County Ohio. I own around 200 acres. My driveway is a mile long to my house. I have BIG deer here. Not always easy but there here and I work hard to keep them here. I have traded before with success and only pair up with good hardworking people like myself who own their own land like I do. I work 65 plus hrs a week own 2 large properties and about several rentals. I live to hunt. My best friend also own 100 plus acres by me. We are looking for somebody to provide us with a place to hunt as a trip. I am not new to this and currently have a deal going in it's fourth year now. These guys take care of us and we take care of them. They put us up and we put them up and it gets better every year. Were close friends now and I like doing it. However we want somewhere to hunt with a rifle and he doesn't have it so he's still in but we are expanding. This offer is to someone out west who is looking for a good hunting place possibly every year on our land who has the same to offer us. We put you up and I usually cook everyday if I can but you'll always be taken care of. You can hunt in our stands alld day gun or bow depending what we work out or both. I still hunt but I work so much that it's better for me to get away from it all for a week and try to enjoy myself with my buddies. We are tough and have killed deer since we could carry a gun. I joined this forum so I could write you after I read your thread. But I'm looking for that special group of good people who are as money strapped as us who would really enjoy being catered to and know how to return the favour. Kids a plus my boys is 13.
Requirements to apply ha ha.
Must own your land, must be willing to hunt hard and must be willing to bullcrap till late at night in my garage then get up early and do it all over again the next day. If this is you get back to us.

HI, Since you are new to the site welcome.:bouncy:
This post is a joke that refers to another post about how many Non Residents will ask for good places to hunt in Ohio. I decided I would be the first hence the #1 so that I would first to post.
I all ready have a great place to hunt. Like you we share it with freinds and family and BS till we fall asleep. Our place is is just around the corner from you in Jackson county. We have just under 300 acres total that my parents started buying in 1975 and have been adding to since.
