When Hunting Mule Deer, the magical number when talk turns on "how wide" is a great Mule Deer, the number that normally pops right away is 30".:D
Well, This Brute hit the 40" mark. Great Buck!!!
Now, I would love to see one like that this November in Alberta!!:biggrin:

"I don’t have a lot of information on this buck, other than it was shot by a hunter using the services of guide Cooper Moore. Apparently Cooper had been playing cat-n-mouse with this giant for two full seasons before client John Gisi was able to make things happen. The velvet mulie sported a 40” spread and is expected to net around 220” B&C. Wonderful buck!!"

That is one awesome muley there. I wonder what happens to the velvet? It looks like it was just about ready to start shedding. I wonder if it would fall off once the antlers dry out?

45....I don't think F&S would of stuck their neck out and did an article on it, and even named the outfitter....but who knows...in todays world, ANYTHING wouldn't surprise me.
Great Buck any way you look at it.
In fact the State Record New Mexico buck is also 40" (40 7/8 to be exact) and scores over 300.
