I got the Site-pro crosshair Illuminator last week. I tried it on a couple scopes. I think if you are going to use one it better be a quality scope with good lenses. I have a old Lyman 3x post and cross hair that it just wouldn’t work on. I tried it on my Leupold and it worked beautifully. I went coyote/fox hunting Friday night. I took my Rem. 700 .17 Rem. It is topped with a Leupold 3-9x40. I have a Nite Lite Light on my hat with a red lens and a Nightblaster 250 yard light mounted on my scope. I think this will be a very good combination.

The only problem I had with the Site-pro was the system they used for the on/off switch. The method to turn it on & off is to screw the battery compartment on and off. I use loosened the tube to turn it off and moved to another stand location. While crossing a fence I felt something land on my foot. Luckily I looked down and saw the battery tube with the battery, spring and light bulb had just dropped off. After that I took it off and put in my pocket between each stand. It is also not very battery friendly. I went through 2 AAA batteries in 1 night of calling. I made five 1/2 hr stands.

Over all I think it is well worth the money!
