Anyone been out....Marietta area

Lookin for a quick report for teh Ohio and Muskingum river. Anybody been out as of late? I am hoping with the cooler nights and recent rains the fish may be a little more active. Gonna try it in the morning, I saw that teh pumphouse was reporting @ 14', I am wandering if Davola will be a rock pile!? We fished at 17' and it was pretty rough getting the boat up to the dam. Thanks for any reports!:)

I was on the Ohio Saturday below the Racine Dam, farther south of where you're looking. The river was in good shape. We catfished for a few hours, I caught a small flathead less than 5 minutes in, turned out to be the only cat caught. I caught one other fish on the bottom, a small drum that hit cut skipjack. On the way back I slung a spinnerbait along a weed edge as we were trolling downstream and caught a few bass in less than 20 minutes. Should have been bassin' the whole time!

Well it was a good morning to take some pics and started off good with a nice White Bass on the first cast. Caught 2 Saugers, 1 WB, 1 Channel, and a Smallie. Switched to a double rig with a Mini Foo on the short line. I was hoping the Skippie's were there and wanted some live bait. Ended up with one 5" Skippie and a nice Mooneye wish I wouldhave taken the UL!

Got into some nice flatheads after the rains saturday two weeks ago. Over 100 lbs of fish. Then went out last week and only caught one small one. Thats fishin!
