Ohio River Fishing

What is the best lure and color to catch largemouth bass on the ohio river?:confused:

Pretty broad question, I don't have a simple one lure/one color answer. I have a lot of success with downsized baits: jigs, spinnerbaits, soft plastics, etc... I fish mostly the backwaters, but some on the main river. My top choices would be an 1/8oz black buzzbait for topwater early and late in the day, and a black/blue bass jig or 4" finesse worm in a purple or red-hued color option for general subsurface fishing.
