Is the time on your camera right? Seems like it should be daylight in some of them. OH YEAH.... Awsome deer.

Sit 2 weeks strait through dark to dark..you will take him. There is no advice for takeing such deer..you simply hunt him on his terms not yours.
I wouldnt want to be in your shoes...You may end up passing on great deer all season for the Giant and then end up with nothing at the end of the season...But thats the risk you will take for a Giant...Nope...wouldnt want to be in your shoes..no Sir.;)

I have a hard time getting a good score in velvet, but I'd say at least 160.

Nice deer! If I were hunting this deer I would: 1.) try to determine his primary bedding area. As a starting point...You can go to google maps or bing maps and look at the aerial pics of the area. The darkest or most dense areas on the aerial view are usually the thickest- and that is often where big bucks like to bed. This is low impact scouting, and you don't want to be tromping around in his bedding area before the season for fear of spooking him. 2.) I would look at food sources. 3.) I would look at the terrain in between the food source and bedding area and try to find a good trail going from bedding area to feeding area. Look for funnels and pinch points, benches and draws...deer like to travel these features. If you can find an intersection even better, with several trails coming together. This is where I would hang my stand. ALWAYS use the wind in your favor. You don't want your scent blowing to where you think the deer will be or is. I also use scent elimination products..don't know how good they work but think they do help. Deer in early and late season follow a bed to feed, feed to bed travel pattern. In the rut, well all bets are off. He could be anywhere, but focus on where the does are. Im by no means an expert, but that's would I would do. If you don't get him this year, after the season walk the entire woods and try to find his sheds, big rubs, and trails. That is likely his core area. Good luck!

gross 175, Im with Mountaineer and NateC....its no secret...hunt the rut as much as possible durring the rut and sit in pinch points all day, he will cruise through sooner or later

I see two nice ones. I agree with others, in that the whopper should end up grossing in the 160's. I think the 9 pt with the high brow tines is awesome to. I would have a hard time passing on him. As for strategy, I can't be of a lot of help without knowing the area intimately. Hunt smart and be persistent is the best advice I can give you and watch your scent!

Personally if it were me! that deer is big, and he is big for a reason! MEaning, he is smart and knows his environment. I would wait 2-3 weeks between checking the camera! The days I would check it I would want it to be raining or jsut before a rain and do it in the mid day! Like between 11am and 12pm, just to ensure you dont spook him!

it all depends on the types of area your hunting. Also if there is alot of neighboring hunting competition this deer could get killed. The most big bucks are taken early season.
get out there early an catch him off guard.
