if you bait deer PLEASE don't put it in a pile. it spreads diseases. spread it out by broadcasting it out over a wide area also this spreads the scent of your bait over a bigger area.

If putting out bait for deer. I have never seen any success hunting directly over the bait. Unless you want to consider large food plots baiting. If all you have is a mall place then baiting is really only good to get the deer to frequent the area, and you will be spending alot of money to get them to form the habit of coming in to the food source.

I would recomend on studying the area as much as possible learning where and when the deer move. And then let that decide on where you should set up. If you do this successfully you will not need bait to kill a deer.

I can tell you from alllllll the things i have seen about c'mere deer that’s it's more hunter bait than deer bait.....

With that being said... Of the thousands of camera pics i have seen of bucks at feeders 99.999% are at night.....

They only benefit i can see to baiting is the fact that the bucks are showing up eventually... That means they have to be hanging around the general area... Hang a feeder.. Don't hunt it, hunt trails and choke points from it.. Hunt between it and the bedding area.. I'm not talking just 100 yards from either...

The feeder is there to somewhat keep and hold deer in a geographic area, say 800 acres, even if you only own 100... You just need to figure out what he's doing before he shows up at that feeder at 11:30 pm..

I was at one time a big baiting, deer cocain, Tinks deer pee hunter..... 3 seasons ago i got rid of it all....

My buck sightings and hunting success has gone up tremendously since then......

IMO if you want to kill deer, bait, but don't hunt like you bait.

And leave all that deer coke, buck jam, c'mere deer, garbage where it belongs... In the garbage....

C'mere deer ?? sound to good to be true! I could put honey or p'nut butter etc. where they filmed that video/ pics on TV. I would have the same results.

For my own opinion, you will only waste your time and money over baiting with deers. Is has a small advantage on doing this, rather than hunting them. Just try going on hunting, then you might get productive.
