looking for a fishing buddy

Hey gang, im from northeast ohio and moved down here a few years back, I would love to find someone who fishes here locally , I could get out most evenings to go, I have no idea where to go or when,, I love fishing for smallmouth, any info would be great. thanks mike

I'll try to see if I can get out on the water with ya, but my time is quickly filling up for the summer. I still need to get down to the Hocking River with Medicsnoke. For now, I would suggest just getting out and snooping around. Most of the creeks and rivers in the central Ohio area have smallies and rock bass in them. Also, most of them are really low so you can wade and see well and really work in some of the pools and such. Start out with small inline spinners and 1/8 jigs w/twistertails(3"). Then, try some small buzzbaits or crankbaits.

Maybe a little late this year, but I'm game to do some fishing. I have a few small boats (2 people max) and a kayak, also do a lot of wading for smallies. I could use a few more people to fish with as well.

Keep in touch, I'm a little occupied chasing things with fur on them until spring.
