For jigging I like the Vibe E best, also just plain minnow on a small hook works on tip ups.

There are 3 or 4 lures that I use.
1. Vibee
2. Buckshot spoon
3. Jiggin Rapala
4. swedish pimple
All of those for me worked best when tipped with a minnow.

Yeah I rally want to try some vibrating baits. You guys see those new Storm soft bodies jigging raps? Wow those looks awesome.

I use a jiggin Rapala or a Swedish Pimple.
If you ever fish for saugeye through the ice, just use a plain leadhead of 1/8 oz or 1/16 oz and a minnow. 30 to 40 minutes before dark is usually best for them.

Nils-Masters makes some productive swimming minnows. The Baby, Junior, and Jigging shads have all worked well for me year around. I've caught 'eyes, crappies, channle cats, and pike on them under the ice and in open water.
As mentioned, Vibe-e's, Buckshot spoons, and Swed. pimps. all produce well.
When the eyes are finicky under the ice those no. 6 Rat Finkees with a 1 inch minnow have saved the day for me at Mosquito on numerous occasions.
During mid season when the 'eyes can be all but impossible a Arnold's fairy jig , which is a tear drop with prop type spinners on it, and maggot on 4 or even 2 lb. test will work. An aqua-View really helps to detect the strikes.
Another less common spoon that can be dynamite is an Angel Eye spoon.
I like to use bleeding trebles on the above baits. Sometimes they can make a big difference.
