I am going to the river on saturday to fish. It will be my first time and I was wonder where are some good spots to go bank fishing at and how do I get there from Dayton.

we went bank fishing at greenup dam. We never got our poles in the water because of the rain. I took RT 52 back home and we stopped in Aberdeen and fished for about 2 hours but there was so much junk in the water there we kept getting snagged so we said screw it and came home and fished the GMR.

i have good luck using skip jack or shad right downtown in cincy on the serpantine wall right behind of the ice breakers. take lots of tackle cause there are lots of snags. did you do any good in the gmr?

We always do pretty good in the GMR. We fish a little spot about a quarter of a mile below the DP&L dam in Miamisburg. Thanks for the advice!
