06/26/09 Increasing deer populations, resulting in negative impacts to native plant communities, has led ODNR Division of Natural Areas and Preserves to coordinate special archery deer hunts at 23 state nature preserves across the state.

It would be nice if they released the results from last year on these areas. I think the state makes a nice piece of change on these drawings and the odds of being picked is far worse than the controlled hunts.
