Where will Lebron go when he drives the lane now that Shaq will be plugging up all of the holes??

I don't think it's a bad move if Shaq can stay healthy. He can still rebound and defend big men, and in the Eastern Conference, and potentially the Finals, the Cavs need that. Look at the top teams in the NBA: Orlando has Howard, Boston has Perkins/Powe, Lakers have Gasol and Bynum. Until this trade, the Cavs had Ilgauskus and Ben Wallace? Shaq is a definite upgrade over Ben Wallace. What worries me more is that this is sort of a 1-year Band-Aid to put on the problem...if they could have somehow moved up in the draft and selected a young big like Jordan Hill from AZ or even Thabeet from UCONN they could have picked a player that they could have for several years. The problem is, outside those two, there aren't many good bigs in this draft. BJ Mullens from OSU has very little experience, Clark from Louisville might not be a bad pick, there's a 6'11" Ukranian player, but the Cavs already have a soft European "center." Shaq may have been the best option, really.

It's a good move for 1 year. This time next year they may need to make another one to clear cap space so they can sign both Lebron and another BIG like Yao Ming or Chris Bosch. If they can win the Championship next year it would make signing two stars a little easier.
Here's a thought. The media has all this talk of Lebron going to New York. What for? He would have to completely start all over. They don't have all the pieces in place and are only missing and all star forward. Also, the ownership and management of that team over the past 5-6 years has been absurd.
